After Hours Service
Dial our surgery number 03 436 0760 or 03 976 0503 for Twizel and our answerphone will give you instructions.
We provide our Kurow, Twizel and Omarama patients and casual patients with an advanced level of medical care 24/7 with our GP or our PRIME NURSES on call at all times all year round.
This service enables you to phone for advice and support for yourself of others in need, or to support the local St Johns staff in the event of an emergency. You will either be seen onsite at the emergency or requested to be seen in the clinic at a time arranged by both parties.

We are a Primary assessment facility, so in the instance that you require hospital level or secondary level care, you would be transported by the best suitable option to either Oamaru or Dunedin Hospital. If you are in the South Canterbury district on the north side of the Waitaki River, the option would be to Timaru or Christchurch Hospital.
